For every major product launch at Benefit Cosmetics, we design and develop a uniform for our brow aestheticians and make-up artists to wear in our boutiques, Sephora, Ulta, and department stores. This half-apron was developed for our latest BB Cream tinted moisturizer, "Big Easy," based on its circus-inspired packaging design and product visual.
For 2014, I designed and developed seven signature pieces for the Benefit Cosmetics Gifts With Purchase (GWP) program. For this year's assortment, our goal was to add items outside of the traditional make-up bag and introduce new patterns, color palettes, and foil stamping, to keep the brand refreshing and on trend.
This infographic was designed through Visual.ly for a startup called ZEFR, the "dominant platform for Enterprise on YouTube." They requested an infographic to go side-by-side with their new program, BrandID, that allows companies to evaluate their presence on YouTube. For the 2013 Gifts with Purchase (GWP) program, I renewed existing Benefit artwork and patterns for two make-up bags and a head wrap inspired by our skincare line. From picking out fabrics to laying out the art, I was responsible for seeing these products from start to finish.
Logo design prototype for the "Very Influential Brows" program a.k.a. "V.I.B." This is an exclusive membership gifted to select bloggers and influencers to take part in a year of complimentary brow and tinting services at Benefit Brow Bars.
A series of icons designed for an awards ceremony celebrating the top Benefit employees from around the world. These icons represent every type of field position for our boutiques, department store counters, Brow Bars, etc.
Collaborating with the US Retail Marketing & PR team, I designed a glamorous porcelain piggy bank housed inside of an animal carrier-inspired box to surprise and delight our VIP clients, press, and key business partners. The piggy bank artwork evokes the fun-spirited Benefit brand DNA with creative illustrations of pigs, the brand’s signature thought bubbles, iconic pink details, references to the brand’s San Francisco roots, and laughter-inspired scenarios. The gold metallic accents and ribbon detail give the piggy an elevated, yet light-hearted feel.
