Shift is a publication I founded that explores moments that are in transition. It’s a collection of photography, writing, illustration, collage, and design that I started as an effort to encourage myself to pursue more personal side projects.
Shift was born out of a desire to break free of routine and examine the ways we process places/ideas/things that are in transition. As a publication, its contents are an exploration of the word "shift" and its format aims to be ever-evolving as it unfolds in future issues.
This inaugural issue explores the theme of “time”, how we use it, the speed at which we pass it, and how we reflect on it. It features the work of 17 contributors & friends of mine from San Francisco, New York, and Boston.
